Minecraft Live is here once more, complete with plenty of upcoming announcements we will soon get to explore. So, today, we share the Minecraft Live 2024 date, where to watch, and what we expect to see in this very exciting stream.

Minecraft Live 2024 Date & Details

Minecraft Live is a live stream by Mojang used to announce new updates and games alongside celebrating the community with developers popping in to say hey. While this event previously had much larger announcements and build-ups, Mojang has stated Minecraft Live will be taking a new direction, which includes occurring twice a year. Minecraft Live 2024 will broadcast live on the official Minecraft YouTube channel, Minecraft Twitch, and Minecraft.net September 28^th at 1PM EDT.

Mob Vote 2024

The Mob Vote was Minecraft Live’s most popular event, where three mobs were put up for vote, and only one made it through to the end. However, as of this year, the Mob Vote was canceled to make room for something new. The details of what that will be are not yet known, so we will just have to wait and see.

Upcoming Content

Minecraft Live’s lineup is being kept tightly under wraps. But we know from the announcement video’s YouTube description that we will be seeing sneak peeks of upcoming small-scale updates referred to as “game drops” with a showcase of behind-the-scenes gameplay. They also mention there will be “exclusive insight into secret stuff,” which could mean anything from movie details to new trailers for the Netflix series.
