Rune Abilities

One of the most exciting new tools for you to use and discover in Hytale Chapter 1 is the new runes system. This allows you to equip different runes for a host of new combat abilities. You might find a Fireball ability rune, for example, which allows you to hurl flames wherever you like. With some additional runes known as modifiers, you can twist and change that fireball in a variety of ways. Maybe you add a shock rune and give it an electric twinge, or maybe you add a radius rune to increase its size. Or, you could add both! The variety of mix-and-match options mean you can customize your abilities however you like.

If your favorite part of Hytale is creating mods and experimenting with mods that the Hytale community creates, you're in luck!
