The quest is on, and only together can we prevail! But will the community be able to complete the objectives before the cape is gone forever? Today, we explore how to get the Minecraft Copper Cape alongside what you too can do to help ensure it is made available.

How to Get the Minecraft Copper Cape

The Minecraft Copper Cape will only be made available if the Minecraft community collectively completes three quests. Each is extremely large-scale, but contains objectives that will, more than likely, be passively completed by most of the player base simply playing the game. The quests offer unique rewards for both Bedrock and Java Edition, which we have listed under each section below. For those joining in late, participation has not yet been a requirement, but the rewards are only available for a limited time and must be claimed manually.

Quest 1

Quest one was active from September 30 at 8:00 am PDT to October 6, 2025, at 10:00 am PDT. The goal was to craft 75 million copper golems within that timeframe. Upon its completion, a copper golem plushie creator item was made available in Minecraft Bedrock Edition’s dressing room, and a Copper Chemist skin was made available for Minecraft Java Edition here.

Quest 2

Quest two began on October 7 at 8:00 am PDT and ended October 13, 2025, at 10:00 am PDT. During this time, players needed to collectively have copper golems organize an astounding 500 million items. Upon its completion, Bedrock Edition players were able to claim copper golem slippers from the dressing room, while Java Edition players were able to claim the Copper Welder skin here.

Quest 3

The final quest of the series was active from October 13 at 8:00 am PDT to October 20, 2025, at 10:00 am PDT. During that time, Java Edition and Bedrock Edition players were able to earn the Minecraft Copper Cape through a few various methods:

• Copper Golem Statue: Placing a copper golem statue within Minecraft Bedrock Edition. Survival and creative both worked.
• Watch Time Quest: Watching three minutes of a Minecraft stream on Twitch or TikTok. Completing this granted a code.
• Twitch Con: In-person code giveaway at the convention center.

While these quests can no longer be completed, the codes previously earned from the Watch Time Quest and Twitch Con are still redeemable here until November 19, 2025.
