Jack Black, as Minecraft’s iconic character Steve, shares center stage with four original movie characters played by Jason Momoa, Danielle Brooks, Emma Myers, and Sebastian Eugene Hansen. A rag-tag group of misfits who have all found themselves transported into the world of Minecraft. Rachel House lends her voice to Malgosha, ruler of the piglins, and Jennifer Coolidge plays the role of a Vice Principal who encounters a Minecraft entity that has ended up in our world. All other roles remain unknown.

Predicted Cameos

Minecraft has no shortage of online celebrities who have left their mark on the game. However, if we were to make a prediction, we would say there are a few individuals that have a higher-than-average chance of making an appearance. The first of those would be CaptainSparklez, responsible for years of Minecraft content and very popular Minecraft music covers. They have a clean record when it comes to controversies as well. We also expect that, while not technically a cameo, we will see a reference to the late content creator Technoblade, beloved by much of Minecraft’s community. Jens Peder Bergensten, lead developer of Minecraft and long-time Mojang employee, would not be surprising to see either. For those unfamiliar with Minecraft, Jens Peder Bergensten, also known as Jeb, has served as a face of sorts for the game for some time alongside Agnes Larsson in much of their promotional content and events.
