Farming Simulator 25 has received plenty of updates since its initial release, and now it's time for update 1.8. This time, the update is focused on delivering plenty of new content, heaps of bug fixes, patches, and mod support for the much-anticipated Precision Farming 3.0! What's in Farming Simulator Patch 1.8?

Farming Simulator 25 update 1.8 is beefy. This patch has loads of changes, but all of them should deliver a smoother gameplay experience. Performance should be smoother across all platforms, a handful of new machines have been added, and more. As the game's official changelog points out, players can expect their game to stutter right after the update. Specifically, when playing with mods or custom graphics settings. This is an anticipated result of shaders being recompiled, and doesn't mean that there's something wrong with your game.

Precision Farming 3.0

Of course, one of the biggest additions in update 1.8 is Precision Farming 3.0. This popular modpack was a fan favorite for Farming Simulator 19 and Farming Simulator 22, and it's now available in Farming Simulator 25 for free via ModHub. With Precision Farming 3.0, a host of new features have been added:

• Tramlines: Players can guide their machines over the same paths more consistently for cleaner and healthier fields.
• Subsidies: Planting more eco-friendly crops can reward the player with in-game subsidies.
• PWM: Pulse Width Modulation sprayers give players even more control over their nozzle output. Adjustments can be made on the fly to maximize coverage efficiency.
• Automatic Section Control: Players' machines can turn individual parts on or off to reduce overspraying.

In addition to this new content, fans of the previous iterations of Precision Farming can expect the return of all previous content. Soil Types, Soil Sampling, Variable Rate Seeding, Environmental Score, and more will all return in Precision Farming 3.0.
