Housing

Chickens in Farming Simulator 22, like other farm animals, need housing. Farmers can place their chickens in a pasture or coop in this game. However, this guide will focus on chickens placed in coops. Nonetheless, here are the different housing options for chickens in the game:

• Pasture: Costs $6,000 and holds up to 30 chickens.
• Coop: Costs $79,000 and holds up to 360 chickens.

It's important to mention that structures, including the chicken coop in Farming Simulator 22, require reasonably flat land. Although you can place a pasture or coop on uneven soil, the game charges extra for the slight leveling procedure.

Buying Chickens

Farmers can access the in-game shop to purchase chickens and place them in coops. One way to access the shop is by pressing “P” on your keyboard (for the PC version). Alternatively, walk to the floating paw symbol next to the coop and press “R.” While in the shop, choose “Animal Dealer,” and the game should make you select which animal housing to choose for the purchased livestock to spawn into.
