Where to Find Stinging Nettle in Enshrouded (Best Locations)

Flameborns can find Stinging Nettle in various locations around Revelwood. But as mentioned earlier, this plant can be hard to spot. So, a particular spot may only have one or two Stinging Nettle shrubs. Nonetheless, you should have a better chance of finding this plant in the areas north of the Revelwood Ancient Spire. Be wary, as this area has some high-level enemies. So, it's ideal to improve your level, gear, and character build before venturing into this area. Tip: Deactivate the Small Foliage option in the Display section of the Settings menu to gain a better view of the Stinging Nettle and other farmable plants. Thankfully, you only need one Stinging Nettle in Enshrouded to grow your copies of this item effectively in the long term. However, you must have a Seedbed to do so, which is a craftable structure using 10x Wooden Log, 2x Metal Scrap, and 10x Farm Soil at the Farmer NPC. Doing so allows you to have a consistent supply of Stinging Nettle at your base.

Stinging Nettle Uses & Crafting Recipes

By itself, Stinging Nettle on a Seedbed can generate Nettle Seedlings. Alternatively, consume this item to gain a +3 Spirit buff for 15 minutes. Another use for Stinging Nettle in Enshrouded is to craft two new items introduced in the Frozen Frontier Update: Cat Food and Cat Food Bait. The crafting recipes for these items are as follows:

• Cat Food: 1x Raw Wolf Meat and 4x Stinging Nettle
• Cat Food Bait: 2x Raw Lean Meat, 1x Raw Wolf Meat, 1x Raw Game, and 1x Stinging Nettle

Note that you must unlock at least one of two NPCs in your base to craft these feline-related items: Emily Fray, the Farmer, or her assistant, Fenrig Mills. Remember, you can only have one NPC for a specific profession on a base. However, you can place the other NPC in another base or encampment if you have it. Tame your very own feline friend by using Cat Food Bait. Then, care for your new animal companion with Cat Food.
