Introduced in Update #1, the Hollow Halls in Enshrouded are endgame content, wherein Flameborns find themselves in relatively cramped spaces while battling hordes of enemies. Succeed in conquering a Hollow Hall, and you’ll be rewarded with unique loot. So, here’s what you should know to access and defeat these difficult dungeons.

How to Unlock the Hollow Halls in Enshrouded

At the time of writing, five Hollow Halls exist in Enshrouded, four of which have been added during Update #1 and the fifth one in Update #4. Players must also go through and complete various quests to access four of the five endgame dungeons. Below are the unlock requirements for the four Hollow Halls in Enshrouded:

• Springlands Hollow Halls: Complete the “Growing Stronger Together” and “Carpentry Assistance” quests to unlock the “Explore the Hollow Halls” quest from the Alchemist.
• Revelwood Hollow Halls: Activate the “Ectoplasm Press for the Collector” quest from the Collector.
• Nomad Highlands Hollow Halls: Activate “The Nomad Highlands Hollow Halls” quest from the Collector.
• Kindlewastes Hollow Halls: Activate “The Kindlewastes Hollow Halls” quest from the Collector.

Note that the Revelwood, Nomad Highlands, and Kindlewastes Hollow Halls require Bone Keys for entry, which can be crafted at the Collector NPC. The Revelwood Bone Key needs 50x Ectoplasm and 20x Bones to make. On the other hand, the Nomad Highlands and Kindlewastes Bone Keys need 100x Ectoplasm Shards and 2x Giant Bones each. As for the fifth and currently, final Hollow Hall, which is the one at Albaneve, it only has one room and is without a teleporter at the time of writing. It doesn't require the completion of quests or Bone Keys to enter. So, some players took it upon themselves to set up a camp near the area and trigger the challenge of finding an efficient way to farm XP and other items.

Every Hollow Hall in Enshrouded

Remember, it’s possible to complete all the Hollow Halls in Enshrouded as a solo player. However, additional players in the same multiplayer server can help make combat within the dungeons easier. Flameborns can spawn additional enemies in the Hollow Halls by defeating marked enemies or interacting with reanimators. Then, progress within the dungeons by opening Barrier Doors, which typically require players to find runes to open them. Challenging the Hollow Halls allows players to farm for loot unique to these locations, including the following:

• Ectoplasm Fragment
• Ectoplasm Shard
• Ectoplasm Crystal
• Toxic Slime
• Giant Bones
• Bonescourge Mace
• Mandible Crusher
• Sacrilegious Steelsword
• Silvershot Bow
• Staff Sinister Crescent Staff
• Snakespine Wand
• Spinechill Axe

Springlands Hollow Halls

Located near the bottom-left corner of the map, near the starting area, the Springlands Hollow Halls is slightly southwest of the "To Mend Old Wounds" lore note, assuming that you've found this collectible. It’s also the first Hollow Hall that’s relatively beginner-friendly, as you’ll face Level 10 enemies inside. Completing this dungeon lets you save Alden Crowley, also known as the Collector, an NPC required to progress and access the other Hollow Halls in Enshrouded.

Revelwood Hollow Halls

Progress further into the game, and you should be able to reach the Revelwood Hollow Halls. Reach this place by fast-traveling to the Revelwood Ancient Spire and then traveling northwest. Enter the Revelwood Hollow Halls after crafting the Revelwood Bone Key from the Collector. Inside, you’ll find and fight Level 15 enemies, including a boss at the end. Defeating all enemies in the dungeon completes the Hollow Hall, but you can make the enemies respawn if you want to farm for XP and items, especially the Dark Crystal Cluster, Large Dark Crystal, and Sparkling Dark Crystal.

Nomad Highlands Hollow Halls

Travel to the northwest of the Nomad Highlands Fast-Travel Point to reach the Nomad Highlands Hollow Hall. Remember, you must have the Nomad Highlands Bone Key to access this dungeon and its various hallways. Fight Level 15 enemies in this mid- to late-game dungeon. Also, this time, you’ll have to deal with two bosses to complete the dungeon. Thankfully, each boss is in a separate area, so you don’t have to fight them at the same time. Players may want to repeat the Nomad Highlands Hollow Halls to farm items unique to this dungeon. These items are the Bejeweled Golden Urn, Foreboding Golden Urn, and Inscribed Golden Urn.

Kindlewastes Hollow Halls

Considered to be one of the endgame locations in Enshrouded, Flameborns must generally do additional preparations to survive and complete the Kindlewastes Hollow Halls. But first, craft the Kindlewastes Bone Key from the Collector and teleport to the Kindlewastes Ancient Spire. Next, travel northeast of that fast-travel point to reach this area’s Hollow Hall. Here, Level 20 enemies spawn and attempt to surround you when they spawn. Like the Nomad Highlands Hollow Halls, you’ll face off against two Hollow Cyclopes and a Fell Sicklescythe before you can complete this dungeon. However, these difficult monsters spawn near each other, testing players’ evasive skills. After all, other enemies, such as beetles and Hollow skeletons, will also be on your back while fighting these bosses. Additionally, players can farm an armor set unique to the Kindlewastes Hollow Halls. Named the Elite Hollow Set, its components are the following: Elite Hollow Helmet, Elite Hollow Chest Plate, Elite Hollow Gloves, Elite Hollow Pants, and Elite Hollow Boots. Apart from these armor pieces, Flameborns can also farm unique items from this specific dungeon, particularly the Bound Tome, Mysterious Tome, and Tome of Agony.

Albaneve Summits Hollow Halls

The Albaneve Summits Hollow Halls is a far trek from the Albaneve Summits Ancient Spire. Players can typically travel to that fast-travel point and then glide and walk to the far north to reach this dungeon's location. Once inside, you’ll find yourself in a single-room establishment. Unlike the other Hollow Halls in Enshrouded, this Albaneve Summits dungeon doesn’t have an intricate layout. Nonetheless, players can take advantage of the small area to make enemies respawn for optimal item and XP farming. Note: We have yet to reach this point in the game to provide an image of its location.

Hollow Halls Strategies, Tips, & Tricks

Test your mettle in the Hollow Halls, but make the challenge easier than intended with the following strategies, tips, and tricks:

• Prioritize high-threat targets. Defeat elite Hollow enemies first, as these opponents can deal heavy damage or summon reinforcements if left alone.
• Study opponents' movements. Certain enemies, especially the Cyclopes, have "tells" that indicate specific attack patterns. Knowledge of these attacks allows you to react correctly and at the right moments.
• Watch out for the Toxic Slime. Stepping on these harmful puddles will eat away at your health.
• Fight now, loot later. You have the time to gather loot after completing each Hollow Hall. Don’t let enemies surround you while you’re gathering items.
