WARDOGS Beta Guide: How to Sign Up, Start Date, & More

Unfortunately, the upcoming WARDOGS beta will be closed. That means you only have one way to get in: pre-ordering the game. You can do so now on the game's Steam page. There is the $39.99 base version of the game and the $49.99 Supporter Edition. The latter includes additional cosmetics for in-game gear, vehicles, and icons. Buying a game might not be the way some players prefer to test it before its release. However, the developers have pledged to give all full refunds to anyone dissatisfied with the closed beta. So when will the WARDOGS beta begin? The closed beta itself will run for one weekend from August 21 to August 23. At this time, we don't know the exact start and end times for the closed beta. But we do have a good idea of what players will experience. No concrete info has been given on specific weaponry or map availability, though the game will eventually launch with three maps per the developers, and while the Alpha featured just one, we may see them added, or perhaps one of the two, in the upcoming Beta phase. Overall, we can likely expect much of the same gameplay options from the Alpha phase available in the upcoming Beta. This includes the functioning in-game economy with unlock fees for different weapons and gear, as well as spawnable vehicles, deployable FOBs, and everything in between as players battle it out in three-faction warfare and 100-player lobbies.
