Uranium in Satisfactory is a late-game resource generally used to craft the Encased Uranium Cell, which, in turn, is a material used to make the fuel source called the Uranium Fuel Rod. As expected, Pioneers need vast quantities of Uranium to maintain power in their factories. So, keep reading as we guide you into farming this essential resource and prevent your factory from running out of power.

Satisfactory Uranium Locations and Node Types

First, it’s important to mention that Pioneers can harvest Uranium by hand. However, you must have protection against radiation as the material radiates this blight. Additionally, Uranium is reasonably scarce across the map, unlike other resources like Crude Oil. You'll find the locations of each Uranium node in Satisfactory below:

Impure Uranium Nodes

• Node #1: Coordinates: -132,772, -187,579 / Altitude: 465m
• Node #2: Coordinates: 180,194, -189,199 / Altitude: 235m
• Node #3: Coordinates: 168,713, 50,839 / Altitude: 0m

Normal Uranium Nodes

• Node #1: Coordinates: -75,893, 51,637 / Altitude: 191m
• Node #2: Coordinates: 38,000, 91,376 / Altitude: -48m

Because there aren't any pure Uranium nodes in Satisfactory, the best pioneers can find is either of the Normal-rated nodes. The first of these nodes is located in the Red Jungle biome, and the second is in the Red Bamboo Fields. Farming Uranium at the Normal nodes should grant Pioneers 100% more of the resource instead of harvesting it from an Impure node. In particular, farming from a Normal Uranium node with a Miner Mk. 1 yields 60 units per minute at 100% clock speed and 150 units at 250% clock speed. Apart from farming it naturally, Pioneers can unlock the Uranium Ore crafting recipe using 100x Fused Modular Frame, 250x Radio Control Unit, and 500x Cooling System for the Tier 9 – Matter Conversion tech tree at the MAM. Then, use 1x Reanimated SAM and 48x Bauxite at the Converter to craft Uranium.

As of Satisfactory 1.0, three crafting recipes exist that use Uranium as an ingredient. These recipes are as follows.

Encased Uranium Cell

Infused Uranium Cell (Alternate Recipe)

• Unlocking Requirements: Tier 8 - Nuclear Power, Caterium Research – Caterium Ingots, Quartz Research – Quartz, and Sulfur Research – Sulfur
• Building: Manufacturer
• Ingredients: 5x Uranium, 3x Silica, 5x Sulfur, and 15x Quickwire

Fertile Uranium (Alternate Recipe)

• Unlocking Requirements: Tier 8 – Particle Enrichment
• Building: Blender
• Ingredients: 5x Uranium, 5x Uranium Waste, 3x Nitric Acid, and 5x Sulfuric Acid
