You can always increase your agility skill to aid your traversal abilities, but the best way to get around in RuneScape: Dragonwilds is with mounts. How to Get a Mount in RuneScape: Dragonwilds

Before you can start collecting and riding mounts in RuneScape: Dragonwilds, you need to complete one crucial quest, "The Wild Hunt". This is a secondary quest that is obtained from Vannaka in the Fellhollow region. To access Fellhollow, you'll need partial completion of the game's sixth primary quest called "Withering Heights." As for "The Wild Hunt," speaking with Vannaka near the entrance to Fellhollow will have him assign you the task of defeating nature spirits. You'll need to collect three primordial hearts from these defeated spirits and bring them back to Vannaka. These enemies are found exclusively within the Willow Groves near the western reaches of Fellhollow. They look like Terrorbirds, but have an ethereal white glow. With this quest complete, you'll receive your first mount immediately: a Terrorbird! This is the game's default mount, but all Terrorbirds function identically. The only difference between Terrorbird mounts is their plumage, which is a purely aesthetic quality. You can find other "skins" for Terrorbirds by defeating specific enemies, looting chests in certain areas, and purchasing them from select merchants. All Terrorbirds give +200 carrying weight. This is a huge boost to scouring the world for resources. Of course, Terrorbirds also make traveling around much quicker. The second and only other type of mount in RuneScape: Dragonwilds are Magic Carpets. These are unlocked once you've completed the first section of the quest "Icthlarin's Little Helper" in the Umbral Sands. This quest is near the end of the game in its fourth main storyline, so it will take a while to get there. Once you have unlocked Magic Carpets, you will receive your first one for free. These mounts don't give additional carrying weight, but their ability to fly over terrain allows you to travel through RuneScape: Dragonwilds at lightning speed.
