RuneScape: Dragonwilds has arrived, and there's already plenty to see and do in this early access title. Like other survival crafting games, you need to gather resources, and one handy early-game resource is Blightwood. Luckily, we can tell you where to find it and what it's suitable for!

RuneScape: Dragonwilds Blightwood Farming Guide

If you need Blightwood, you need to make your way toward the Bloodblight Swamp. This region has earned its spooky name, as it's not the place to visit for a relaxing vacation. Plenty of wild beasts roam the area, and there are many ways to get yourself poisoned. As a result, we recommend heading into the Bloodblight Swamp in pursuit of Blightwood only if you have the following:

• A Lodestone
  • Crafted with 32x Stone, 20x Rune Essence, & 1x Vault Core
• Antipoison Potions
  • Crafted with 1x Harralander, 1x Bittercap Mushroom, & 1x Clay Vessel
• A Bronze Logging Axe
  • Crafted with 5x Bronze Bar, 4x Ash Logs, and 2x Coarse Thread

With a Lodestone placed at your home base, or at least outside of the Bloodblight Swamp, you can teleport away from danger in a flash. So long as you have enough Law Runes, of course. Additionally, Antipoison Potions will negate the effects of poison for a limited time and make traversal through the swamp much safer. The swamp's air is poisonous, and you will constantly lose health unless you have used an Antipoison Potion. Finally, you'll need a Bronze Logging Axe to obtain the Blightwood you seek. To gather Blightwood, you need to locate Blightwood roots. There's a good spot in the swamp that spawns a healthy amount of Blightwood Roots that can be reached without venturing too far into the swamp's poisonous fumes. Near the northeastern portion of the swamp (near the letter 'T' in Bloodblight on your map), you can find plenty of Blightwood Roots near a large set of gates. From these gates, you can dash in to find Blightoowd Roots near large trees, and dash out again before you become too poisoned.
