Roaming warm biomes and curling with a yelp is a mob hoping to earn your vote for Minecraft Live! This time, the Minecraft armadillo mob, the second of three mob vote mobs to be revealed. So, today we explore all of its confirmed details.

Confirmed Minecraft Armadillo Mob Details

Spawning in warm biomes like the savannah, the armadillo will wander about, rolling into a ball when threatened. Players who find these cute mobs will be able to gather “scute,” which can be used to make wolf armor. Scute itself being the scales that cover the large bony plates of an armadillo. From the video, it looks like the mob may drop scute without being killed, which opens up the possibility of armadillo farms to supply armor for players with an army of wolves.

How to Vote for the Minecraft Armadillo Mob

To add a new mob to a warm biome near you, cast your vote on October 13^th, starting at 1PM EDT. Unlike last year, voting is open for 48 hours, and your ballet can be cast through a special bedrock server, the Minecraft Launcher, or Minecraft.net. Whichever is most convenient!
