From the makers of the chaotically fun title Sacrifice Your Friends, developer Astrolabe Interactive Inc. allows players to unleash their sky-high creativity with Aloft. Recently, the company posted a roadmap for Aloft for 2025. Note that the announcement doesn’t come with exact release dates for the updates. Nonetheless, Sky Sailors, which the game calls its players, can expect these various new features, bug fixes, and other enhancements throughout the game's first year in early access. Below are the things you can expect from Aloft in 2025:

• Quality of Life Updates: Steam Workshop functionality, tutorial quests, additional islands, more points of interest, and tablemap, UX, and UI improvements.
• Feature Improvements: Glider and sail upgrades, additional monster and tool tiers, combat improvements and rewards, more crafting options and materials, and multiple ecosystem enhancements.
• Build Pieces and Decorations: Food decorations, animal accessories, training dummies, mannequins for clothes, conditional building rewards, and new building options and materials.
• New Features: Compass, animal reproduction, life trees, character customization, new biomes and playable areas, emotes and social interactions, beekeeping, and critters and insects.

Note that the developer aims to address issues and optimize overall in-game performance before adding new content and features. This should reduce player frustrations while ensuring the game runs as smoothly as possible. Players can still use the in-game bug report tool should they encounter issues while playing. Alternatively, you can use the same tool to share your feedback and help notify the developers of areas that need improvement. Doing so may aid in adding new elements to the Aloft Early Access Roadmap 2025, making it a better experience as it nears its full launch.
