As part of the anniversary celebrations, Mojang announced a brand-new event called Minecraft Experience! So, today, we answer the question “What is Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue?” alongside where to buy tickets before it is too late.

What is Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue?

Minecraft Experience is an in-person adventure alongside a group of 24 others where players must overcome interactive displays, physical challenges, arcade elements, and escape-room-like puzzles in a large-scale scavenger hunt to save a village of villagers. This is done using the Orb of Interaction, a device granted to ticket holders that allows them to interact with 11 spaces and multiple Minecraft biomes brought to life using large-scale projections, physical sets, music, sound, and lightning. It even includes combat! Minecraft Experience is confirmed to be suitable for all ages but recommended for those seven years old and up.

Ticket Costs & Experience Length

There are two types of tickets for Minecraft Experience. The first is general admission, which costs $32 USD and grants access to everything we spoke of prior. General admission group packages are also offered to reduce ticket costs per person. These range from $28 USD for groups of four to 15, and $25 USD for groups of 16 and up. However, super fans that want a little more can instead pay $65 USD for VIP admission, granting flexible arrival times, priority admission, access to the VIP lounge with Minecraft-themed drinks and snacks, access to a VIP biome with photo ops, and an abundance of exclusive merchandise. Regardless of the type of admission purchased, the Minecraft Experience is estimated to last about one hour. VIPs will want to set aside a little extra time to enjoy the VIP lounge and biome. The Minecraft Experience team has stated tickets available at the door, if any, are subject to availability. Purchasing ahead of time online is highly recommended to avoid delays and disappointment. Where and When is Minecraft Experience?

Minecraft Experience will be in the United States, visiting Plano, Texas, from September 20^th to December 01^st, 2024. Where Minecraft Experience will go next has not yet been publicly shared, but the website suggests there are many more locations to come.
