It provides crucial information by displaying parts of the map, allowing Pioneers to quickly find resources, monitor activities, and identify creatures. How to Craft the Radar Tower in Satisfactory

Pioneers can craft the Radar Tower in Satisfactory by unlocking the recipe using 50x Crystal Oscillator, 50x Heavy Modular Frame, and 100x Circuit Board in the Quartz Research Tree. Then, use the Build Gun with the following materials:

• 30x Heavy Modular Frame
• 30x Crystal Oscillator
• 10x Computer
• 100x Cable

Note: Update 1.0 replaced the 10x Circuit Board requirement with 10x Computer. It’s important to mention that the Radar Tower consumes 30 MW to function. So, connect it to a power source, such as a Fuel Generator, to ensure the structure has sufficient energy and provide the appropriate information. Additionally, the Radar Tower must have available space to fit its dimensions, which are the following:

• Length: 10 m
• Width: 10 m
• Height: 118 m
• Area: 110 m2

Best Locations for the Radar Tower

Once placed and powered, the Radar Tower in Satisfactory reveals the area and various details within a 1 km radius. Additionally, the tower only provides information found under its antenna. So, it’s ideal to place the building at an elevated location to prevent missing information. Reddit user M_Okojo created a layout for the best locations to place Radar Towers in Satisfactory. The design includes 15 Radar Towers spread throughout the map. However, the user didn't put a tower at Paradise Island, mainly because the location is crawling with hostile creatures.

Usage

Aside from displaying information within a 1 km radius, the Radar Tower in Satisfactory also clears the fog of war within its displayed area. Also, the fog doesn't return even when the tower doesn't receive power. However, the details it used to show will disappear.

• Resource Nodes and Resource Wells, including their Purities
