Hytale is finally on its way! So, today, we explore everything we know so far about which platforms Hytale will reach, including those available at early access launch and others confirmed for further down the line!

All Hytale Platforms

Currently, Hytale Early Access is exclusive to PC, with Mac and Linux support coming at some point down the line. As for consoles and mobile platforms, the developers have stated that the desire is there, but it is a very distant goal for when the game is in a much better state. As soon as official dates are provided for each platform, we will have them updated here. Confirmed

Hytale Crossplay

The Hytale cross-platform engine was abandoned in favor of the legacy engine to get the game out as quickly as possible. This sadly means we will likely not see the console or mobile versions of Hytale until long after even the official release. But, when they do eventually come into existence, the developers have shared nothing to suggest that it will not be crossplay.

Where to Purchase Hytale

During early access, Hytale will only be available on the official Hytale store, and much later, Steam. Pre-orders began on December 13, 2025, with the PC early access release coming one month later, on January 13, 2026. The Hytale editions available for pre-purchase can be seen below:

Name reservations are available with pre-purchase, and different early access cosmetics are granted based on the purchased edition. These editions, and their pricing, are exclusive to early access.
