There's no shortage of hot-headed Pals to collect across the Palpagos Islands. However, if you want a truly volcanic companion, look no further than Palworld's Moldron. This Pal can be a big buff to your party or your base, and we've got all the info you need here in our capture guide. Moldron Location in Palworld

One look at a Moldron, and you could probably guess where it's likely to appear. This lava-loving Pal is most commonly found on the mid-eastern portion of Mount Obsidian. The rough coordinates of -497, -44 should put you in the right place to find a wandering herd or even some solitary Moldron. Additionally, you can find some Moldron at a higher level on the volcanic island south of Feybreak Island, around coordinates -811, -828. On this small island, you can encounter a Moldron Field Alpha Boss. It spawns at an intimidating level 78, so ensure your team is up to the task!

Hatching Moldron (Breeding Guide)

Perhaps you don't want to fight or throw Pal Spheres to secure a Moldron. If that's the case, you can always gather Large Scorching Eggs as you explore the hotter climates of Palworld. Keep in mind that while these eggs can have a level one Moldron inside, there's a random chance of several other Pals popping out instead. How to Defeat and Capture Moldron in Palworld

While a Moldron can be a useful addition to your team, they're not one of the hardest Pals to fight. They're sluggish, large targets, and as a Fire-element Pal, they have a strong weakness to Water Pals, which are always easy to find. However, as a dual Fire and Ground element, Moldron can easily wipe out Grass, Electric, and Ice Pals. Since it moves slowly, most of Moldron's attacks are ranged. As such, you can adopt a ranged position yourself and carefully dodge these attacks while chipping away at a Moldron's health. However, you can also get up close behind it, and wack away at its health while it slowly tries to turn around. The most dangerous part of fighting a Moldron is its exclusive skill Magma Spit. This will cover the ground in pockets of lava that can deal plenty of damage if you step on them. Do your best to skirt around these hazards, however, and you'll do fine. The real trouble is if your Pal stands in them for too long. To be on the safe side, it would be best to bring more than one Water Pal. Especially if you're fighting an Alpha Field Boss Moldron.
