It has been a little shy of six months since the release of the Palworld Sakurajima Update. Soon, this action-adventure, survival, and monster-gaming title will get another update. So, here's what we know about the Palworld December Update, otherwise known as the Feybreak update, and what it entails for new and veteran Pal Trainers!

What’s Coming in the Palworld Feybreak Update?

Additionally, The 2024 Game Awards teased additional details about this major update, which we now know as "Feybreak." For starters, we did get the Palworld Feybreak update release date, which will land on December 23, 2024. There are also various images teased from these pieces of information, including the following:

A New Island

According to the announcement, the new island will be six times larger than Sakurajima. With that, the new location should be roughly the size of one of the game’s main islands. Additionally, the area seems to possess an underground or cavernous theme, as depicted in one of the posted images.

New Pals

Two images included in the announcement showed two new Pals that will arrive with the Palworld December Update. One image shows a canine-like Pal seemingly howling at a canyon. The other image displays a beetle-like Pal, which might be a creature with close ties to Warsect.

A New Tower & Boss

The image of the new canine-like Pal howling also shows a new tower in the distance. A new tower means a new boss, which Pal Trainers must fight and defeat to earn bountiful rewards.

Other New Content and Features

Although unannounced at the time of writing, players should expect more content and features included in the launch of the Palworld Feybreak Update. These additions may include new items, technologies, raid bosses, and more. This major patch may also include balance changes and bug fixes.
