This year’s lineup consists of three mobs from the real world! They are crabs, armadillos, and penguins. However, for those more focused on what each brings to the table, a list of features can be found above. We hope it helps make your decision! As for when to vote, the polls are nearly open! To cast your vote for Minecraft’s next mob, head over to the special Bedrock Minecraft Live server, the Minecraft Launcher, or Minecraft.net beginning at 1 PM EST. Each will be accepting votes until the beginning of Minecraft Live 2023.

The mob vote has always pitted the community against each other, but this year, that led to something slightly different. Rather than arguing about the mob that should win (for the most part), fans have banded together in protest of only one making it into the game. Regardless of if it brings change, it was nice to see fans of all three mobs coming together for a common cause. Hopefully, the losing mobs one day make it into the game we all love.
