How to Make Flint Shards in RLCraft
Pubblicato il da
Starting out in RLCraft is never easy, but it becomes especially hard when learning how to craft flint tools for the first time. So, today, we explore how to make flint shards in RLCraft alongside the tools they provide.
Within RLCraft, flint shards are crafted from flint but not in a way that a vanilla player would normally expect. Instead, after gathering flint from punching gravel blocks, the flint must be held in hand and right-clicked on top of a stone block. Doing so will break the flint down into a small number of flint shards that can then be turned into tools and weapons alongside plant string and sticks.
Flint tools and weapons all have unique recipes that require varying amounts of three specific items: sticks, flint shards, and plant string. Sticks can be obtained by punching leaf blocks, but plant string requires a flint knife to be made first. Once crafted, head out to a local field and begin attacking short grass blocks with the flint knife. This will eventually provide plant fiber, which can then be crafted into plant string.
With all three items now in hand, a flint hatchet can be crafted within the inventory using one flint shard, one plant string, and one stick. Then, with the hatchet, log blocks can finally be gathered to craft a crafting table and begin the standard tool progression. Last but not least, it is important to remember that one must place log blocks and right-click them with the hatchet to get planks, and the same goes for turning planks into sticks. The standard vanilla crafting recipe will not work for either.
