How to Get Ancient Fragments in Voyagers of Nera

As mentioned above, you'll see your first Ancient Fragment at the end of the game's opening tutorial. Right before you enter the open world, you'll see an Ancient Fragment gently spinning away with a tutorial message stating that some items require holding a button to collect them. This is typically the case for resources that are harder to find and more valuable. While finding Ancient Fragments can seem tricky, they're actually scattered all over the oceans of Nera. Before you can venture beyond the game's opening area, The Embrace, you'll need a healthy helping of Ancient Fragments. Fortunately, you can see these mystical stones as you explore nearly any named location in the game. However, there is a stronger concentration of Ancient Fragments in areas with ancient ruins. Additionally, areas with a higher concentration of enemies often have an Ancient Fragment or two hanging around. One of the best areas you can visit in the game's early hours for Ancient Fragments is the Timeworn Sanctuary to the south. This lengthy bridge stretching into the water has no foliage to get in the way. This makes spotting the stones much easier. Additionally, Ancient Fragments can respawn in or near the areas you find them in after a certain amount of in-game time has passed.

Ancient Fragment Uses

While you don't use Ancient Fragments for crafting, they are required to upgrade your Spirit Anchor and build a handful of structures around your camp. One of the most crucial early game structures that requires Ancient Fragments is the Manaforge.
