Use Ghost Yarn in V Rising as an ingredient to craft an endgame resource and various late mid-game armor sets: Shadowmoon, Grim Knight, Dread, and Maleficer Scholar. Note that these armor sets are upgraded versions of the Dawnthorn armor. That means players must craft the Dawnthorn armor set before they can craft and equip any of the upgraded versions.

Farming Ghost Yarn in V Rising

The Ghost Yarn in V Rising is an essential resource crafted by finding finding and using materials from the Cursed Forest. However, navigating this biome can be difficult due to the encroaching fog. Dispel the cursed fog by equipping the Shroud of the Forest cape, removing the Curse of the Forest debuff, and letting you see your surroundings better while in the Cursed Forest. Craft this cape using 200x Pristine Hide, 200x Plant Fibre, and 20x Ghost Shroom by hand or with the Tailoring Bench. Note that you must first defeat the Level 63 V Blood Carrier Ben the Old Wanderer in the Cursed Forest to unlock the crafting recipe for this cape. With the cape equipped, gather and use 16x Ghost Shroom, 4x Wool Thread, and 2x Cotton Yarn to craft 2x Ghost Yarn at the Advanced Loom.  Note that unlocking this crafting recipe requires defeating the Level 76 V Blood Carrier Matka the Cursed Weaver in the Nest of the Curse Weaver at the Cursed Forest.
