What are Scraps?

Added in Hytale Update 7, scraps are the core ingredient for most goblin gadgets and decorations. Scraps are also required for repairing goblin machinery in the forgotten temple, granting access to the goblin tinkerer’s workbench and the runestone system. As for the lore associated with this item, scraps are valued by goblins above all else despite the item description stating they are nothing more than “mundane scraps of material.” This may make them a valuable item for goblin vendors when trading is more fleshed out in the future!

How to Find Hytale Scraps

Hytale scraps are most abundantly dropped by goblins and looted from chests within The Guttering Hollows. To gain access to this area, head to the forgotten temple and interact with the broken goblin generator within the goblin structure to the left of the memories shrine. This begins the spawning of goblin breaches, which contain portals that lead to The Guttering Hollows.
