Hytale Chapter 1 will officially launch on Monday, October 12th. Hytale Chapter 1's official release time is 10 am EDT, which aligns with when the studio initially launched Hytale early access. Once live, you can enjoy Hytale Chapter 1 server hosting with BisectHosting right away!

What's New in Hytale Chapter 1? (Patch Overview)

Hytale Chapter 1 introduces a ton of exciting new features to the game and makes some important changes to existing content as well. New Faction: Goblins Goblins take over Hytale in Chapter 1, with tons of combat roles and even a boss players will meet at the end of the game's first official hand-crafted dungeon! You'll see all kinds of hostile goblins, including scrappers, miners, guardians, lobbers, burners, feastmasters, the fearsome Goblin boss Gobliterator, and more, but not all of them are enemies! Hytale Chapter 1 also includes friendly goblins, including a Goblin Trader who runs a shop. New Dungeon: Guttering Hollows & New Boss: Gobliterator Hytale's first hand-crafted dungeon, Guttering Hollows, is coming in Chapter 1, challenging players to clear a nasty area full of Goblin foes, all leading up to an encounter with the game's very first boss, the Gobliterator. Taking advantage of the game's new encounter systems, this dungeon should be an awesome experience that will hopefully lead to many more like it in future updates! New World Event: Goblin Breach To keep the Goblin theme going, Hytale will also introduce a new world event in Chapter 1, the Goblin Breach, which will appear around the world as temporary portals after players begin Chapter 1 from the Forgotten Temple. Players will find Echoes of Orbis across the map and step in, ready to fight in a Goblin-controlled area. Inside, players have a limited time to explore, fight foes, solve puzzles, and collect valuables before they're forced back out. These areas regenerate when you enter, so each visit can offer different surprises. New System: Rune Abilities Hytale Chapter 1 will introduce a new Rune Ability system that lets players enjoy powerful abilities and augment them with different runes for wildly different effects. These include abilities like Chain Hook, which pulls in foes, Ground Slam, which produces spikes from the earth that launch foes, and more, with the ability to augment these abilities with Augment Runes for new effects, including Expansion, which increases the AOE of abilities by 100%, Ricochet, which causes projectiles to bounce off of foes, and plenty more! Combat Rework Hytale Chapter 1 also aims to significantly change combat. Melee combat is getting much faster, with quicker attack speeds for all weapons. Consumables and Healing will also change a lot: taking damage no longer interrupts consumption, movement penalties while using consumables are being reduced, and many foods have been rebalanced. On top of these changes, non-elite enemies can also be flinched when struck, interrupting their attacks before becoming more resistant to being flinched in the future. This gives players more opportunities to get in and deal damage without having to take hits back.

Hytale's $15,000 Gobliterator Challenge To celebrate the release of Hytale's first dungeon in Chapter 1, the team has created a fun event for players. Players must complete the new dungeon and defeat the Gobliterator boss while following a strict set of rules, making it much more difficult. These rules state that:

• You must be on Hard Mode difficulty.
• You must be on Hardcore Mode.
• You must be Solo.
• You can't use Armor, Potions, or any glitches.
• You can only use permitted Iron Weapons from Exploration Mode.
• You must be streaming or recording your attempt for it to be verified.

These rules may change, so keep tabs on the Hytale team's latest announcements on their social channels. If you're the first to pull this off, send your recording to the Hytale team, and you could win the grand reward of $15,000! Just make sure to test your capture software before you start! New Cozy Content In the Works Following Hytale Chapter 1, it seems new cozy content will be a high priority for the Hypixel team. First revealed in a tweet from Simon, the Hytale team is focusing on three different pipelines of new content after the release of Chapter 1 and even before the launch of Chapter 2: Cozy/Crafting, Combat/Itemization, and Dungeons/Bosses. The team of now over 100 people will be hard at work creating new content to keep the game evolving in between these much larger Chapter updates, which is a great sign for players!
