The Frozen Zombie

• Melee Damage: Unknown/Unknown/Unknown (Easy/Normal/Hard)
• Ice Ball Damage: Unknown/Unknown/Unknown (Easy/Normal/Hard)
• Spawn Biomes: Snowy Biomes, Ice Caves

Frozen Zombies are an icy zombie variant arriving in Minecraft 26.4 that spawn exclusively in snowy biomes and Ice Caves. While the specific numbers surrounding their health, damage, and spawn rate are still unknown, they have a few unique abilities that have been confirmed:

1. Freezing Touch – Melee attacks from a Frozen Zombie apply the freezing status, both slowing their target and dealing additional damage over time.
2. Ice Toss – If a Frozen Zombie spawns with an Ice Ball in their hand, they can repeatedly throw it as a ranged attack.

Frozen Zombies drop Rotten Flesh alongside the possibility of any weapons or equipment that they happen to have spawned with, including Ice Balls.

How to Find Frozen Zombies

Frozen Zombies spawn exclusively in snowy biomes and Ice Caves. As a snapshot is not yet out, the specific “snowy biomes” are still unknown. However, we do have the Stray available to make a possible guess:

Those attempting to find snowy biomes, or the Ice Caves beneath them, on their hunt for Frozen Zombies will have the best luck searching the borders of low-temperature biomes such as Forests and Windswept Gravely Hills, which snowy biomes can be connected to. However, should some bad luck occur, the command below can be used to find the exact coordinates of an Ice Caves biome:
