Abiotic Factor Power Leech Guide: How to Fight, Drops, & More
Publié le par
If you thought exploring and finding a way out of the facility were already troublesome, various entities prevent you from achieving those goals. One infuriating example is the Power Leech, which is also the reason for the Rolling Blackout event. So, keep reading to learn how to deal with the Power Leech in Abiotic Factor and restore electricity to the facility.
Officially called IS-0211 in the world of Abiotic Factor, the Power Leech is a floating, crystal-like parasite that shows up during the Rolling Blackout Weather Event introduced in Update 1.0. This entity latches onto power sources, such as batteries and sockets, resulting in the electrical interference around the facility.
Scientists and other facility members shouldn’t take this entity lightly. The lightning bolts emitting from its body can be hard to dodge as it chips away at your health. While a definite nuisance, players must defeat it and its giant variant to remove the Rolling Blackout in the facility.

Killing a Power Leech in Abiotic Factor generally requires using a Portal Suppression Field, which has a Tier 2 crafting recipe and requires Crafting Level 5. Craft this item using 4x Raw Exor Heart, 2x Anteverse Gem, and 8x Military Electronics, apart from completing its other requirements.
Killing several Power Leeches forces the Giant Power Leech to spawn. Unlike the regular Power Leech, players can use weapons to bring down this floating monster. Powerful weapons, like the Grinder and Energy Pistol, are needed to bring it down. The Security Pistol is a good alternative to defeat the Giant Power Leech, albeit it takes about 20 to 50 bullets before it dies.
